Pros And Cons Of Secularism In Islamic Society

Cons of Secularism in Islam: Because of secularism the Islamic faith has decreased in the whole world. People are losing their belief on their God and avoiding the religious rules and regulations. If religion cannot force people on its beliefs then it will lose its great devotion. Society will then lose its peace and reverence. Moreover, as people don’t care about religious rules in secular society, people can do some evil things which are prohibited in Islam. For example, takes more drags, more and frequent physical relationship with opposite sex, consume more alcohol which is allowed in secular man

made rules. So society tends to lose peace. Nowadays we can see some nasty thing in our society. Let’s take an example of cloths. In secular society, there
is no dress code, people are wearing whatever they want which looks very odd. Young men are seen wearing pants down around the thigh, women are wearing tight cloths. They think its fashion but it looks very odd. I think no religious will tell us to do so. Consequently, if there were proper religious legislation then this oddness would be removed.

Pros of Secularism in Islam : Alternatively, secularism has some good impact on our society. It believes that every single person in the society should have freedom. So people seem a lot freer in secular society. It also provides equal rights to all citizens in the society. Therefore, all the people are treated equally.
